FAQ

Common questions
about student support.

Still have questions? Walk into the support office — Room 104, Ground Floor.

Is counselling really confidential?

Yes. Everything discussed in a counselling session stays between you and the counsellor. Notes are never shared with faculty, parents, or administration without your explicit written consent — except in situations where there is a serious risk of harm to yourself or others, in which case only the minimum necessary action is taken.

Do I need to book in advance or can I walk in?

Both options work. Booking in advance (via the form above or WhatsApp) ensures you get a time slot that works for you. Walk-ins are also welcome at the Student Support office (Room 104, Ground Floor) during office hours — Sun to Fri, 9 AM to 5 PM. If a counsellor is busy, you will be seen within the same day where possible.

Can I get academic support for any subject?

Yes. Peer tutoring is available for all core subjects in both BHM and BITM. Senior students are trained as tutors for subjects they have already passed. For more advanced topics, faculty members also hold open office hours twice a week where students can come with questions.

What if I want to complain about a faculty member?

Submit a grievance using the form on this page or in writing at the administrative office. All grievances are reviewed by the Principal within 5 working days. Your identity is kept confidential throughout the process unless you choose to be identified. Retaliation against a student for submitting a grievance is a serious disciplinary matter.

Is there support available for students who are struggling financially?

Yes. If your financial situation changes after you enrol — job loss in the family, health crisis, or other hardship — speak with the Accounts Office in confidence. The college has a need-based support process that can include fee deferrals, installment arrangements, or emergency scholarship review. We do not want financial hardship to end anyone's education.
