Two programs.
Built for where the world is going.

We deliberately offer fewer programs so we can teach them exceptionally well — with industry-embedded curriculum, small cohorts, and faculty who've worked in the field.

02 · Why Aarambha

A college that takes all of you — academics, ECA, and the human in between.

Our Philosophy

Holistic by design, not by accident.

Most colleges add ECA on the side. We treat sports, debate, social work, and the arts as required muscle — graded, mentored, and woven into who you become by year four.

[ Students in lab, on field, and on stage — collage ]
/ 01

Cohorts that actually fit in a room.

Max 48–60 students per program. You will be known by name, not roll number. Our faculty-to-student ratio is 1:14.

/ 02

Industry-built curriculum.

Hotel GMs and CTOs sit on our curriculum board. The syllabus is rewritten every two years.

/ 03

An internship before you graduate — guaranteed.

Every Aarambha student completes a paid 6-month industry internship with one of our 40+ partner organisations across Nepal and abroad.

/ 04

Scholarships up to 100%.

Merit, sport, art, and need-based — we publish the rubric, not the politics.

/ 05

A campus you can breathe in.

Open courtyards, library bays, a maker-space, and the only roof-top reading deck in Bharatpur.

/ 06

Counsellors, not just teachers.

Mental wellness, career planning, and study-abroad support are part of the package — not an add-on.

10 · FAQ

Questions worth answering.

Common questions from students and parents. Still curious? Send us a note.

What is the eligibility for BHM and BITM?
+2 in any stream with a minimum GPA of 2.0 (or equivalent). Both programs require an interview and a short aptitude check. There is no entrance "cut-off" exam.
Are scholarships actually available?
Yes. We award scholarships across four categories — Merit (up to 100%), Need-based (up to 75%), Sport/ECA (up to 50%), and Daughter of Nepal (50%). The full rubric and selection panel are public.
Is the internship guaranteed or optional?
Required and guaranteed. Every Aarambha student does a paid 6-month internship in semester 7. We match you with a partner organisation based on your track and interests — and yes, we cover the placement, not the student.
Are hostels available for students from outside Chitwan?
Yes. We have separate hostels for male and female students within 5 minutes' walk of campus, with three meals included. Hostel applications open with your admission offer.
How is Aarambha different from other TU-affiliated colleges?
Smaller cohorts (max 60), an industry-built curriculum updated every two years, mandatory paid internship, and counsellors for both academics and mental wellness. We deliberately stay small to do more for each student.
Can I transfer credits from another college?
Within TU-affiliated colleges, yes — subject to a credit review by our academic council. International transfers are evaluated case-by-case. Reach out before applying.
What support is there for studying abroad after graduation?
Our Career & Beyond cell helps with masters' applications, statement-of-purpose reviews, recommendation letters, and visa documentation. We have placed alumni in 11 countries.
