Who We Are

Aarambha College,
Bharatpur, Chitwan.

Aarambha College is a Tribhuvan University affiliated institution in Bharatpur, Chitwan — offering two focused undergraduate programs: Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM) and Bachelor of Information Technology Management (BITM).

We were founded on a single conviction: that a student from Chitwan should not have to move to Kathmandu to receive a world-class management education. That conviction shapes everything — from how we hire faculty to how we design curriculum to how we think about class size.

Students here are not treated as numbers. Faculty know students by name. Cohorts are kept intentionally small — under 60 per batch — because we believe real mentorship requires proximity. Every student who enrols at Aarambha leaves with a guaranteed paid internship behind them and a professional network that extends well beyond Chitwan.

Vision & Mission

Where we are going.
And how we will get there.

Our Vision

To be Chitwan's — and Nepal's — most trusted institution for BHM and BITM education.

We envision a college known not by its rankings or advertising budget, but by the quality and character of its graduates. An institution where every student who walks through the gate walks out as an industry-ready professional equipped with a global perspective, a practical skillset, and the confidence to lead.

We envision a future where students from Chitwan build careers that compete internationally — in the Gulf, in Europe, across Asia — without ever having felt disadvantaged by where they studied.

Our Mission

To deliver exceptional, practical education that turns ambitious students into employable professionals.

Through a curriculum that is updated every two years in consultation with hiring partners, faculty who bring real industry experience into the classroom, and facilities that replicate actual working environments — we prepare students for the industry, not just the exam.

We prioritise hands-on learning, small cohorts, guaranteed internships, and a culture of continuous improvement — because we know that the quality of a student's first job determines much of what follows.

What We Stand For

Six values.
Non-negotiable ones.

Academic Rigour

We hold students to high standards and do not apologise for it. Excellence in academia, sports, ethics, and aesthetics — not one at the expense of another.

Student-Centred

Every decision — from timetabling to curriculum review — begins with one question: does this serve the student? Not the administration. Not convention. The student.

Industry Alignment

Curriculum reviewed every two years with industry partners. What we teach is what Nepal's — and the world's — employers actually need from graduates right now.

Transparency

Fees, scholarship rubrics, and admission criteria are published in full. No hidden charges. No "you'll find out later." We believe informed students make better decisions.

Continuous Improvement

Every stakeholder — faculty, staff, and student alike — is a learner. Every day is an opportunity to understand and improve. Complacency is the only thing we do not tolerate.

Local Pride, Global Ambition

We are deeply rooted in Chitwan. We celebrate that. And we use that rootedness as a launchpad to send graduates to careers across Nepal and internationally.

Principal, Aarambha College
"Every stakeholder is a learner and every day is an opportunity to discover something new."

Welcome to Aarambha College, Bharatpur, Chitwan. We warmly welcome all students joining our institution, and we assure you that you will always be proud of your decision to become part of the Aarambha family.

I believe in upholding high standards with an absolute commitment to understanding and improving the educational process — using team strategies that centre on student achievement. The college is fiercely committed to pursuing excellence in all fields: academia, sports, ethics, and aesthetics.

As Principal, I feel honoured and privileged to be part of an educational institution where every day is an opportunity to learn and grow. Our faculty are not merely teachers — they are mentors who bring real-world industry insight into the classroom, ensuring that what students learn here is relevant to where they will work.

We envision a college where a student from Chitwan competes with — and outperforms — peers from anywhere in Nepal. Where a graduate's first placement is not a surprise but a certainty. Where the quality of a student's experience inside these walls translates directly into the quality of the career that follows outside them.

I look forward to welcoming you to Aarambha College.
