About the position
This role is for hospitality educators and industry professionals who can teach BHM students in a practical, confident and career-oriented way. The lecturer may support classroom teaching, kitchen or service demonstrations, assignment guidance, internal assessments and student mentoring.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials, demonstrations and practical learning sessions.
- Guide students in hospitality operations, food production, F&B service, front office, housekeeping, tourism or event management subjects.
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, internal evaluation tasks and student feedback.
- Support practical lab activities, field visits, workshops and internship-readiness sessions.
Expected requirements
- Relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Tourism or a related field.
- Teaching experience, hotel/resort experience or strong industry exposure preferred.
- Good communication skills and ability to mentor undergraduate students.
- Availability for full-time, part-time or visiting lecturer engagement depending on department need.
